Rep Power: 25 | Re: P R I C I N G!!! The above suggestion is not smart for this equipment. If you start with the wrong pricing you will have a very hard time trying to change it for what it should be and you will be losing money from the beginning. Send me a PM with your email address and phone number. I will help you do it right. |

Instead of sending pm or emails I would suggest you post your location so if someone here is nearby they could tell you exactly what the market goes for instead of evaluating according to their own location. Also post any relevant infos as to if you have competition around and the size of your city as per people number. |

Rep Power: 25 | Re: P R I C I N G!!! Yes - the 755 is an excellent bed and commands a good price. All pricing must reflect the "value" that fits with the particular piece of equipment. Overprice and you lose customers, underprice and you lose money. Your pricing depends on the number of units you have, if you will be membership based or other, what expansion (if any) you plan down the road, etc etc I have worked with easily over 150+ clients on their pricing. This is something I see done wrong more often than right. I have seen it kill salons when done wrong, and make salons very successful when done right. |

There are only small differences in pricing based on your market - about 85% of the markets are substantially similar. The more relevant issues in pricing are perceived "value" and how you are going to present your pricing in your selling strategy. Points and membership based take one approach, sessions and monthlies a slightly different one.

Rep Power: 22 | Re: P R I C I N G!!! Looks good for our market for the most part. Base pricing for all the salons around here is about $6. We charge $7 for our SunStar SX32 3F but sell it as a level 2. A full HP around my area will never sell for more than $35 a session, most cant even get $30.

Not better. But I do this for a living and pricing happens to be one of the areas I am best at. Just like I imagine you would give better legal advice than I would because that is what you do, right? Have I done something to offend you Gidget? Your opinion was they should post all their information online. My opinion was that they shouldn't. Did I say that in a way that you found objectionable for some reason?
