Rep Power: 22 | Re: do you have customer price list Well it will make it easy for competitors to get them. This may make us seem less friendly, but we do not have a price sheet and we rarely give out prices over the phone. If customers ask we simply tell them all the prices are memorized (which is true) and that we will certainly find the package that meets their needs. Same goes for a phone call. They always ask "do you have any specials" or "what packages do you have". Our response is always the same. "We have a great many packaged designed to meet everyones needs, from unlimited to session packages of 5, 10, 15 or 20. There is too much to go over the phone. How about you stop in and we can go over them to see what will best suit you!". It works well for us without letting the competition snooping us!

In my area .. big city(they all are go..go..go)...low income, students... its all about shopping around for good prices, and getting the best deal..spend money on tanning, but r to broke to make the their rent..lol unity.. dont think u's seem less friendly.. it might just be the charm of youre salon( like a restaurant without a menu..love it!) But it sound like a more relaxed/upscaled area? |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: do you have customer price list Ya, we are in a more upscale area and the salon style is more "New York" style, lol. But I will add this. Once someone is in your doors, there is a HUGE chance they will buy a package as they are already there. In marketing I learned its all about getting people in the door first. I am more than willing to negotiate a lower price IF needed to get a sale since they are now in the salon. I will NOT negotiate or "bid" for a customer over the phone! I am not too keen on those who price shop from their home. They dont care about how well beds work, how clean the salon is and how friendly the staff is. All they look at is the $ sign. Frankly, we dont cater to people like that anyway.

Rep Power: 0 | Re: do you have customer price list just had a customer ask for a price list, i have had these out before and seems like most of my competitors have copied my packages and prices so i decided not publish a price list recently. but this customer today said she told her friend of how good our salon was but friend just needed to decide on the package, so i pulled my menu price copy and photo copied it and reluctantly handed it over. i am sure she is on the up and up but i didnt want to look stupid either. maybe i should have suggested she come in for a tour and let us find a package to fit her budget |

If a client asks for one tell them to give you their email and you will send one via electronic mail. I've been doing a lot more through email lately. Plus you have their email now if they want to be included in news of happenings at your salon.
