Rep Power: 21 | Talk to me about Texas What is going on out in Texas? Are there any big chain salons? What is the tanning market like around the Dallas area? If you are in Texas do you have any good local distributors? I have a friend that is thinking about relocating out there and she is wanting to stay in the same industry. Thanks for any feedback! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Talk to me about Texas Angelcat is giving great advice. If you don't know what you're doing in Dallas, you will get destroyed. Massive chains fighting each other over what has been described as "Ground Zero" for the tanning industry. PBT has over 40 locations in DFW alone and they are ALL corporate stores established years ago. Planet Tan has 30 beds minimum and up to 50 beds in many of their 14 locations. And Darque Tan has begun to make another surge in this market adding new stores bringing their total store count to around 8 and aggressively growing. The average store in DFW has over 20 beds and to compete will cost well over $400k to build and equip. And to top it all off... $18 a month with $20 down and in most cases NO enrollment. We don't need anymore Mexican restraunts either. lol |
