Rep Power: 18 | city sale We have what is called "farm city days" here in our city...local businesses put their goods out on the sidewalks at very discounted prices. I have decided to participate in this. Does anyone think a mass mailing would be a waste this time of year?? I will offer great deals on tanning packages and products. I know it's the slow season, but I thought maybe this could bring sales up!? Any advice is appreciated... |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: city sale We call those "sidewalk sales". Since everybody will show up because those sales are usually pretty big I dont see why you would need to do a mailing since everyone will be there anyway. You could offer a discount on summer tanning and then a very small discount in the fall. By that time people will be "hooked" on tanning and wont mind paying more. |

If so do that, other wise just post sidewalk sale prices in the rooms prior to the event to attrack some attention. Maybe have a few customers take signs to post at their workplaces. Good luck with your event. |
