Cameras, who uses them? - tanTALK

I want to put cameras at the front desk and door of my salon with internet viewing so I can check on the salon from my home. The problem is I don't want the cameras to upset my clients and be a waste of money. So who uses them, do they work well, what areas do you put them in. All info, big and small is appreciated.

I've used them since day one.... never one complaint.

I have mine set to be installed at te end of the month, with a panic button too.

My worry is I don't want anyone to think there are any more "secret" cameras throughout the salon.

How I felt is I put a lot of money into this business...a lot of hard earned money. No employee or customer is going to take things away from me.

I havn't been open that long and I have had a few things walk off. What burned my buttocks were three sample packets of tanology that I personally wanted to try. Even if it was just that they thought I was watching that would make a huge difference.

You have to disclose the areas that are being "watched." You don't have to explain yourself, if you feel like you should tell them you have had some lotions grow legs and walk off.

I have camaras that i can watch from the net. I don't record like i SHOULD but i mostley use it for when im on vacation or not at the salon much. I think i paid 400.00 for the monitor and 4 camaras in 2 years i have only had 1 person ask if the lobby was the only play i had them and it was a guy.
