Rep Power: 0 | Okay, my former life was advertising, so I know what works...but lets get down to the real stuff, now that I have your attention! 1. How do you motivate your employees? 2. What have you found works to keep your staff motivated? 3. Does anyone implement the CFS approach....and how do you train your consultants? |

Rep Power: 20 | when it comes to motivating employees i think it varys...for example...the only thing we do to motivate employees is give them 10% commision on all lotion sales...right now in the slow season its hard to even motivate ourself...customers are down...lotion sales are down...etc...not a fun time for anyone...in about a week we are getting our computer system in and we are hoping that our new packages we are gonna be starting will help bring in more money along with more customers in these slower times of the year and also the busyer.. |

Rep Power: 68 | Motivating employees is like trying to get someone to fall in love with you. You have to work on it every day with energy and passion. Good vibes and good attitudes are contagious. Lead by example. Treat them like they are the most important asset in your store. Compensate them as best as you can. "Love'em up" when they're gettin her done, and train them up when they're not. I don't know what CFS is, but the best form is training is the one that the individual understands best. For some people it's being told, for others it's written to be studied, and for others they need to see it in action, and most people learn really well from all three. After the training, it's all about repetition, evaluation and communication. Hope this helps. Good luck. |

Rep Power: 68 | Sorry, I thought we were still playing "nice poster"/"mean poster". Confucius, the ancient chinese philosopher. Confucius say: "Man who stands on toilet ... is high on pot." etc. (I don't think he really said that, but that's the Confucius I was talking about) As for employees being "your biggest client", I don't see the correlation. Could you elaborate, please? |

Rep Power: 0 | I can tell you, I believe our employees are our biggest clients. We think of them that way because they represent us to our customers, and the community as a whole. They are mainly repsonsible for our sales, operations, customers impressions and relations, and our reputation rests in their hands every day. Who could be a larger more important client than them? _________________ Any Advice given please consider the size of your market![ This Message was edited by: DWhite6872 on 2005-07-24 12:31 ] |
