I am the manager at a salon and this is our first year open and my boss wants me to make the decision whether or not we are open on christmas eve which is on a saturday and we are already extremely slow on saturdays as it is. do most salons open on christmas eve? any opinions? |

Christmas eve is usually a great money day. Not many tanners, but you will sell gift cards/certificates to all those last minute shoppers. From my own personal shopping habits, I know gift cards are the last things I pick up because you don't have to worry about them being sold out. Just my opinion, but I think it would be wise to be open for most of the day anyways. Good Luck. ![]() |

We feel that being consistant is important in business. We will only be closed on Christmas Day obviously, but if I knew that a large majority of our customer base would come in and tan and that they would be purchasing tans and retail I would be open on Christmas Day as well. |
