Rep Power: 21 | Our base bed has 42 body lamps (26 in canopy and 16 in bench). It also has a/c, self contained cd/stereo with internal speakers. 3 x 400 watt facial lamps with reflector glass. Plus with this laydown we have a comparable standup with 48 lamps. Both beds are $10 a session. |

That may not have been the question, but he is right? You cannot charge what they do in Manhattan, but probably more than they do where I am. Research your comp, compare units and overall service and take it from there. And, you should do a breakeven analysis to see if any of it jives......... |

Rep Power: 0 | cant anyone just answer a question... i dont care if you are in alaska or hawaii.. wherever you are what is the price of your base bed and what type of bed is it. i understand if you do not want to answer but it seems as if everyone wants to read posts and make their comments no matter if it helps or not. The day any of you are millionaires and no longer feel the need to come on this site i will then take your advice until then why cant some of you just answer the question or move on to the next one. |

Rep Power: 28 | Hey mmodel20.... No need to be combative, it is just every area dictates a differnet price point was all I was saying. I am located just outside of DC, so a large Metro area vs. a more rural area. Here's mine: Sundash 232 15min 32 lamps with 11 spaghetti facials 6.5% UVB Membership/$25 start up + prorated month of $24 Monthly $49 10/$60 5/$35 1/$10 Descriptive enough??? |

Rep Power: 143 | mmodel20, what people are trying to say is that if everyone on here posted their pricing, which most don't care to do, what good is it going to do you? It depends on your area! I can say my prices are much higher than yours but, I price for my area. Equipment can depend on that too. Tope end, quality equipment or a beat up rusty old bed. The answer you are looking for, you already have. Don't get upset when someone tries to help you and you don't understand. Good luck. |

Rep Power: 0 | upset... i could care less. i usually just browse the various threads and read all the input but so much time is wasted reading people just chatting back and forth about nothing at all or just bashing the others for their questions and comments. It seems as if people would rather spend their time thinking of something clever and comical to write instead of maybe answering the direct question being asked of them. If you do not want to answer the actual question then just move on and go to a chat room to discuss your weekends and how you abuse your customers and canadas exchange rate and how people are stupid for asking questions on a forum. And after this post i am sure i will get plenty more about the same thing i am talking about now. |

Rep Power: 24 | Calm down mmodel20. What CAYENNE summed up is how people are in the industry. It is nothing personal. After you become "seasoned" you realize what you should reveal and what you shouldn't. It may be difficult for you to comprehend, but what I charge for a single session is totally what my market demands. I can't charge $15 for a single session if I have the same equipment as XYZ Salon down the street and they only charge $5. Look around you and see what your competition is doing. And get over yourself...Tan Talkers talk about how gross their customers are too. |
