they buy them from me! Anyone have some good, tactfull words to put on a sign where clients store their lotions? Why should I provide space for their Walmart & Internet lotions?

I just tell them if they are buying a lotion they can store it here as a perk of membership. I have never had anyone bring anything from another salon and ask to store it for them. Sure they bring it, but they have NEVER asked for us to store.

Simply say you have no room. I do it for a select few. it gets to 110 here in the summer and alot of lotion expand and boil.

Purchase any premium quality lotions from our display and enjoy the convenience of storing your lotion here.

Lotion Storage: XYZ lotions only. Please no lotions purchased from other sources.

Thank you for your recent tanning lotion purchase, as an added bonus you may store your XYZ purchased lotion in our lockers.

Just some thoughts.

I noticed a client that has EFT membership had bought Bonfire from the Internet & was storing it on my shelf. When she joined EFT, I offer their first lotion at 50% off. She asked me to order Bonfire for her & I did, but now she's getting it from the Internet. So I want to put a sign up so she (& others) will know!

Never store lotions that where not purchase from you. They way to do that is nevwer let them take their stored bottle out of your salon. If it leaves, the store it can not be stored again.

1st of all, I would not allow customers to have access to "stored" lotions. 2nd, just tell them it is for "your" sold lotions, period.
