Rep Power: 23 | I was wondering how you guys answered the question when customers come in asking "do you have new bulbs? When is the last time you changed them?" People ask that year round. When they've newly been changed, its easy. But when its been 4 months or so, its not so easy because customers dont understand that its not a time frame, but a matter of bulb life compared to used time. You can try to explain it, but they still want you to say they have recently been changed. Do you they know how much it costs to change out bulbs? No! Does anyone change out in the slow season? If you did, then they wouldnt get enought use to need to be changed at the start of busy season. But then in the busy season people would be asking and you would have an even bigger problem. Just curious how you deal with it. |

Rep Power: 0 | I generally inform clients that we change our lamps 100-200 hours prior to the actual full life of the lamps. I also inform them that at this point they are a few hundred hours away from needing to be changed out. Once they realize we do not have any bulbs that near their last leg of life, they tend to be satisfied. |

Rep Power: 46 | i tell customers our lamps are always fresh! (and they are) i explain all machines have a hour meter like the mileage on your car when the lamps in that machine get to a certain point we know it needs new lamps we always change 100- 200 hours early to be sure lamps never get weak. its the same way you would keep track of oil changes in your car! THEY SEEM 2 UNDERSTAND IT THAT WAY YOU WILL NEVER SEE "NEW LAMPS" OR "NEW HOT BULBS" SIGNS IN OUR WINDOW IT MAKES CUSTOMERS THINK THEY WERE TANNING ON OLD LAMPS |

Rep Power: 0 | We seldom have anyone ask. It is usually a new one stopping in. We just tell them we do proper maintenance on all equipment...and our lamps are changed sooner than recommended by distributor/manufacturer. We have never had an established client ask that question. They know how we take care of our equipment. |
