Rep Power: 20 | and realizes an hour later after having left the salon that its gone. Client returns ask for valuable article. You don't have it. Neither you nor your staff have ever seen it. Who pays for it? Does the salon have to reimburse the client for it? Does the client just have to suffer the loss? Per my attorney, if THE SALON PROVIDES a place DESIGNATED as a holding spot for personal items, then the salon assumes all responsibility for replacement of lost/stolen articles. Fair? |

Rep Power: 24 | We have a "Hold Harmless" clause in our Client Data Card that states that we can not be held responsible for any money, jewelry or anything of value left behind. We have found many items left behind and up till now, have been able to return them. I have many times considered putting in a dish for people to put their rings, earrings, etc. on, but now I may reconsider. |

Rep Power: 21 | Yeah I have the little dishes in the room for people to put there jewlery in. When I am showing them how to use everything I instruct them to put there jewlery in the dish so it will not fall or get lost. When I clean the room after each person I check the dish to make sure no one has left anything, and if they have I put it in a zip lock bag and write there name on it. |

Rep Power: 21 | How can an employee not find something left in a room, they are the next person in there, if you cean the beds, and should be the ones to find and call the client to let them know they left it behind. I have customers who won't tan at the new salon bc they left something and the bed cleaner did not see it when they cleaned the room. |

Rep Power: 0 | I can't tell you how many people call wanting to know if we found their watch, ring, etc. only to have them call back or stop in to tell us that they found it at home. I agree that the person who cleans the room should find anything left behind from a lotion to a piece of jewelry. We immediately call the person and let them know we have it. |
