fun Sales Training - tanTALK

We had 6 hours of training today...2 three hour sessions.

I wanted to try and make it a little more exciting...so we rented out a movie screen..we had our training in a Movie Theatre and had a lot of fun !
We are just starting out and we are looking for low cost fun ideas for our training!
I even noticed more participation from our employees!

Can you share some of your training tips with us?

I have a friend that also ownes a tanning salon, neither one of us has lot of employees so I thouht about combining both salons together for training.

Any good ideas to start with?

I would role play. Objection challenge. Phone techniques. Service tips and expectations. Lotion training.

education is everything as long as the employee knows what he/she is talking about and believes in what he/she is talking about you can sell anything!

That is good point, you have to control the sale and confidence is key!

combine your staff,(if you are not competitors), also if you have a good distributor, they will usually help you out on some costs and education help.
