Rep Power: 0 | I got a call tonight from one of my employees explaining to me that while it was extremely busy, a customer called one of the employees into her room to re-clean her bed. The employee recleaned the bed (while the woman stood there naked) and left the room. the girl then yelled at the employee, saying the bed was disgusting. the employee went back in, checked the bed again, told the customer the spots she was seeing were on the other side of the acrylic but still cleaned it again. The girl demanded to have the owner's number and raised a fit in front of all the other customers waiting. She was not given the owner's number but was told she would be called in the morning. She continued her fit when one of the employees took the woman outside to talk to her. how would you handle this situation if you had to contact this woman the next morning? |

You have to sympathize with your customer who, although they went about it in a very immature manner, was worried she was tanning on a dirty bed. But you also have to stand up for your employee/facility and make sure you do stress that the marks she saw were on the opposite side of the acrylic (I'm guessing it's probably a stray fingerprint left from changing bulbs?) Also, I would tell her that should she ever have a problem with your facility or your employees, to please address the problem in a more mature manner. I'm sure there's a more PC way to word that other than calling her immature, but that's just the general idea. Someone should have more commen sense than to pitch a fit like that in front of other people. |

Rep Power: 0 | Tell your employee to tell her to get the **** out...you don't need that kind of customer in your salon...let them go to the $2.00 tan place, then they can see what dirty is. If you JUST HAVE TO call them, tell them to bring in a parent next time they want to tan, since they acted like a 5 year old, they'll need a consent form to tan... |

But all in all you try to retain every cleint and keep them happy there comes a fine line where that client is doing more harm by making a seen and screaming in which case you don't need them anymore. But I was not there and did not see what happened. |
