Rep Power: 0 | Ok. So we just had a call from a customer saying that within 30 minutes of leaving our salon she had red bumps on her mid section on her stomach and her back. She said she went to the doctor and he said that she has a bacteria infection from our tanning beds. We clean with Lucasol cleaner and clean the beds after every session. Is this possible? She wants a call back and I don't really know what to say to her. I know that our employees are cleaning the beds well. Please advise |

Rep Power: 0 | Oh that's exactly what i wanted to say - but who would she believe a doctor or me? Any nice explanation to her. I will explain that we have hospital grade sanitizer and the minute it is sprayed on the bed that it would kill anything that is on it. She thinks that cleaning a bed should take 5 minutes - she didn't feel like the girl cleaning it did a good job cause it was in less time than that. Please Help. She said someone else has told her that she got a bacteria infection from us and I just get flustered cause I know its not possible. |

Rep Power: 21 | Tell her that you will need to get a signed note from her doctor explaining what her condition is...once you receive that you will call him yourself to discuss the situation. (Most of the time people lie about seeing a doctor) If it gets that far...actually call him yourself & find out what kind of bacteria it is because if she is telling the truth he may just be trying to scare her away from the tanning salon. Regardless of what happens at this point she will be telling everyone about the funk she got from your salon so I wouldn't even think about a refund. |

Rep Power: 24 | Now it sounds like they are just out to trash you and it really wasn't an infection at all. If it were me, I would give her a refund & cut her off. She's going to bad mouth you no matter what you do. However, review your bed cleaning procedures, make sure they are being cleaned properly. (If someone else is doing it, you cannot be sure) |

Rep Power: 21 | Bacterial infections do not come up in 30 minutes. It first takes time for the bacteria to grow (24 hrs in ideal conditions). Unless her stomach was covered and kept dark and moist, chances are all she has is a reaction to the lotion and/or heat. Ask her if the rash has any odor? Bacteria is funky. Ask her for the doctor's report and culture results. What does she want anyway? |

Rep Power: 0 | she doesn't want anything - and she sounded nice on the phone. I'm just upset that someone would say this and she's in college so she has more friends that she could possibly bad mouth to about us. I just didn't think this was possible and wanted to know what to say to her. |
