Guess who came into to tan today? Mr. "I'm getting a lawyer"! The girl working said he was even nice today! Said he understands there has to be policies! Oh well..Guess his medical condition wasnt too bad. I didnt believe him anyway.

I am not...standing firm when needed sometimes will result in a good outcome.

I guess we all have to make a judgement call on what battles we (individually) choose to fight. Not all will agree. But you are the best judge of what a situation calls for...in your salon.

Sometimes they just want to take advantage of a coupon from a salon down the street...a day after they buy a package at your salon. More then a few clients know what buttons to push..becasue it worked before. Just like a high school girls knows that she can stay home from school if she tells dad she has Female problems.

Dad is not gonna touch that subject with a ten foot pole..now is he? He will just write a note and she will get her way the easy way...

Sometimes that happens...with clients pulling the 'Doctors Card' out thier pocket ... when all else fails...this is happening throughtout our industry a little too much in my opinion.

Hope that we don't have deal with too many of clients having hiss fits over nothing...this this season!

Had a lady come in buying single visits. Said i overcharged her one day on credit card - $60 to much. I did - but caught mistake the same day and fixed. Prossing company says I fixed it so quickly the charge really didnt come through. Accountant says no extra money the the account for either. Daily closeout came out correct. I did nothing wrong. Came in like twice a week for a month kept saying "oh I forgot my bank statement agin". Finally she stopped mentioning it. People want you to cave so they can get what they want. Good for you and the employee.

Dont cheat me I have a 99% success rate on catching your ***!!!

Ummmmm....didn't he have a doctor's note to NOT tan?? I'd make him get one clearing his "previous condition" or re-sign his waiver...just an idea...

When you do a charge on someones card and void it the same day that amount is taken out of their available credit for a 10 day period. But it will never post on their statement. Customers do not know the difference.
