Rep Power: 0 | a tanning client came in today saying her patch isn't sticking properly since she started tanning...... she went to the pharmacy and he told her to stop tanning because she's getting surges of hormones while she's tanning......making her patch ineffective..... I had no answers for her, no one has ever stated a problem before.... But I thought of all you..... Any thoughts? |

Rep Power: 24 | I guess if that were true, that it would hold for people who were on the smoking patch too??? Not the hormones, but the nicotine absorbtion? I would venture a guess that it was the lotion/oil that was making it not stick? As for the "Surges of Hormones"...I'm not going there! |

Rep Power: 0 | i don't know about this information either..... I told her not to apply lotion around the patch area, she claims she isn't doing so that the heat of the tanning beds are making it come off..... i really don't know what to tell her...... seems unlikely that heat is making her have hormone "surges"....thus making her patch less effective....now watch, if she ends up pregnant she'll come blaming me....LOL What next??????? lol |

Rep Power: 0 | man o man...... right when you think you've dealt with all kinds of issues, another one pops up.... although, i have called my doctor and he stated that it WILL NOT cause hormone "surges" (just as you, Sherin, stated) However I will leave it up to the client, if she'd like to stop and get refund...no problem! |
