Get this. We had a mother and daughter who have tanned with us off and on since we opened. Not big tanners, wouldnt buy lotion, that kind. Well, we are decorated VERY CUTE in here. Have actual bamboo poles and grass cabana hut, etc. They were always bringing people in here to look at the way we have it decorated. They asked if we had any bamboo poles, etc. left over because they wanted to decorate a sunroom in their house. WELL SURE! I had 2 or 3 bamboo poles left over. Sold them to her real cheap! Even offered to deliver them. 3 months later they come get them. My husband helps them load them up. Well, just found out TODAY that these people opened their own tanning salon with some of OUR DECORATIONS and named their salon VERY SIMILAR to ours. Copied our pricing structure, etc. People never cease to amaze me...

OMG...I would be so peeed! I cannot believe someone would go that far and be so sneaky...grrr. What a bunch of ******* copycats! I am with engfant make their lives difficult.

all you need is a new slogan or catch phrase like, "nothing beats the original"
or "why accept imitators when you can have the original" or something else smartass.
something that makes them look stupid for copying. Give me a min. I'll think of something good.

wow, that just verifies that you need to be paranoid in business...don't trust anyone. I would be verry mad also. If the name is verrrrry similar to yours or practically the same, you should talk to your lawyer about that...could be grounds for a lawsuit. make them at least change their name if its that similar, or you will take legal action...sometimes a simple letter from your attorney will work.

This would definately mean war, My lifes ambition would be to make sure their business FAILS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
