Rep Power: 21 | To be fair to all employees regardless of if they are full time or part time workers, divide the amount of hours worked by their total sales. Otherwise, some employees might make a lot more in sales , but they worked twice as many hours as the other employee you are compairing them to. |

Rep Power: 22 | do most of you use a "per sales average" or a "per client average". Per sales average would be you tanned 1000 sessions in a month so sales/# of sessions. Per client average would be say of those 1000 sessions it was only 200 individual clients....so sales/ 200. Which you think gives the better picture of performance? |

Rep Power: 21 | That being said, it's the employee who is bringing the most money to your bottom line regardless if it's by their per sales average, per client average or PPA ... You need to look at the $$$$ from every angle in order to get the correct view, the big picture is always your bottom line. How much time are they spending working for you and during that time how much money are they making you... |

Rep Power: 0 | I believe that PPA is the best way to evaluate performance....but you also must look at how many employees are working the shift with them....sometimes the employee can be so busy that they don't have enough time to handle all customers the way they would like. |

Rep Power: 0 | A bed washer is a completely different job at any of my salons.... The salesperson at the desk is not permitted to help clean during their shift....they are there to sell and that is it....I know when working the desk myself at times that I don't give everyone the attention they deserve but when you have 15-20 people waiting in line it is tough....during the slower months it is tough to justify having more than 1 person working the desk,so I know that I am leaving a few dollars on the table but it is an inexact science. _________________ [ This Message was edited by: Big Dawg on 2004-08-04 18:46 ] |
