Where is the best place and deal to go to for salon printed shirts? Would it be more cost effective to buy the shirts yourself then bring them to a copy? Not sure how to go about doing this.

I think this is a good idea for any tanning salon.
Usualy a screen and print shop will work with you.
OR a tee-shirit company. Even selling shirts is a good idea.

We purchase our own shirts and then send them to a embroidery. We also have our towels done.

contact a local embroidery store. if you don't know what to look for ask someone in administration at the local high school where they get their school logo apparell done.
most small embroidery operations will be able to offer you the shirt styles and or put logo on your own clothing for a nominal price. i did this for the first time this season and the customers love it and it does lend a certain amount of creditablility to your employees in the eyes of the customers.

I think embroidery looks better than screen print and last longer. We have our sales people wear the polo shirts and bed cleaners wear t-shirts. The embroidery will charge a small set up fee.

I guess it would depend on how many shirts you need to purchase. We have about 50 employees in peak and each have any where from 2 to 3 shirts. We purchase our shirts through a sporting goods printing store who can give us a bulk rate on them then they charge us $5.00 per shirt for the embroidery.

I would rather have embroidered shirts than screen print. And I would plan to sale to clients. I would like a range from tan tops, polos and t-shirts. So with all of the experience on the board would it be better to purchase the shirts wholesale then bring them somewhere? Go all through one company. Can anyone provide me some names and/or websites to look at

We use a local printer and get the shirts from him too. Each t-shirt costs us $6 and sweatshirts $12 with our logo and employee name on them!

Margaret, don't you just love those Spermie shirts! Some of them are too cute!
