Another curious moment. I'm wondering what is the average rent per square foot for of your salons or for spaces in your local strip malls.
As with my lotion prices thread, I just want to get an idea of expenses in US salons as compared to my location.

I'm looking at $35CAD. Included is $9 for CAMS. Brand new development.

Are you SERIOUS?????? $35 per sq ft plus $9 for CAMs???..where are you..?? $15-23 per sq ft and $1.50-$3.50 for CAM/SE USA/Major City

Our local mall is up in the $30 range plus a % of revenue. I'm at about $18.00 per sq. foot, everything except heat and hydro included.

I am paying $17 per sq ft, everything included except gas, electric and water.

We are paying $6.85 sq ft, with a triple net lease and does not include any utilities or maintenance fees. We are in an upscale strip mall.

I pay $14 per square foot plus $250 CAM charges including heating, cooling, water. Located in upscale area.

Including! Heating, cooling? Cooling I assume is gas/electric? does that mean electric is included too? Or is the A/C common to you and the landlord? A/Ckills me, heating is nothing.

Mine is $6.95 with nothing included. I am responsible for most maintenance. Our strip mall was sold a couple of months ago so I am not sure what kind of changes will be in store. It needs the exterior remodeled badly. It looks dated.

[Neon Beach, my salon located in the building where are offices upstair and retail suites down stair(first floor). This building has central AC and Heating for every suite of this building including mine. Since my salon needed more then I have, I installed additional AC. So, it works both ways.
