Rep Power: 25 | Trying this sale this week. Seems like alot of people are interested but not alot are buying yet. We have been selling about 15-20 per day.....our goal was 25-30. Let's hope the next couple of days are good, when people get paid. Trying to keep as many coming in all year as possible. |

Rep Power: 22 | We start ours the first of next month. $99.95 Tan until Dec 31, 2003. We also have coupon for $10.00 off so they get it for 89.95, and in December we run the last cheap tan of the year, it is the price of the year. $20.03, we get alot of response with it, and seeing how most have the tan until dec package, this will carry them through January, and then hallelujah Tanning season will be back. _________________ [ This Message was edited by: TanningEmporium on 2003-09-18 07:21 ] |

Rep Power: 0 | We have been doing the '$99 till 2004' package. It has gone fairly well. We also have '$150 till 2004' for any bed--no upgrade charges. On that one, we let them pay 1/2 down and the rest before the first 30 days is up. It is working well. I like the $20.04 idea for the end of the year. Good idea! Pam |

Rep Power: 21 | We started advertising this week. Our special is ~ Tan for the rest of 2003 and the 1st 20 get lotion for free($99.95)! We made up nice grab bags with different lotion & moisturizer samples plus a coupon to use toward a bottle of lotion (coupon expires Oct 31st) People are really excited about it. And believe it or not they seem as hyped over the free bag of goodies as the unlimited tanning. |

Rep Power: 25 | We did ok with this but not as good as we had hoped. Sold about 150 all together. Did alot of advertising for it for two weeks, not so sure how well it paid off. We are still offering it but the longer people wait the less appealing it is to them. |

Rep Power: 0 | We just did the tan til end of the year for $100.00, did very well with it. My question is I like the idea of tanning in December for the year price, but how many people get upset because they paid more than that with the other special, and people who recently just bought unlimited for full price, and then 1-2 weeks later they see that special. Do you run the special all through december? I guess you would have to exclude gift certificates? This is my first year and just trying to learn new sales tactic. |

Rep Power: 0 | Love the idea of $20.03 for the year end. We are having an open house with 14 other business Nov 21 & 22. That would be a good special to run only for open house customers that come in on those 2 days. Thanks for the idea. |

Rep Power: 0 | donna, that's exactly why i don't run many specials. if you provide good value they will purchase what they need when they need. i'm a firm believer that if you trick someone into purchasing what appears to be a good deal and they (of their own fault) don't use it to their advantage they tramp and you might as well kiss them goodbye as a customer in the future. |
