I was wondering how many of you have incorporated your salons? We filed our Articles of Organization yesterday on the internet and with a credit card and $200.00 we were certified within a couple of hours as a Limited Liability Company (LLC) What have most of you done? Advantages? Disadvantages?

Thanks
B & C

S Corp. here... taxes are MUCH better and if someone sues your tanning salon... that is just what they are sueing... NOT YOU ! You are now the "president" of the Co. not the owner so to speak. So if someone sues... and takes you to the bank... they CANNOT come after your house.. car... savings... etc... JUST your salon... "The Tanning Co. INC."

We are an S Corp as well. We have our rental property and our tanning salon under the corporate umbrella. It saves us on liability!
