Someone in the KNOW; please list the States that are currently Regulated now by the FDA. THANKS!!

bsmart, maybe Im confused (happens often) but I thought all salons were regulated Federally & FDA? And just a few are State regulated?

All states are regulated by the fda.anyone altering or changing lamps or times that are printed on the bed and in the manual that are not a compliant replacement is in noncompliance and breaking the federal laws.Just because someone doesn't come by and check doesn't mean you can do what you want. Call your insurance co. and see if they will cover you if someone gets burned if the lamps are not compatable.

Correcto, all are regulated by FDA and I assume FTC, but not all are state-regulated. I would think Smart Tan, ITA, or NAATSO, etc would have a list of regulated states.

Correction.... which States are self-regulated. Yes all equipment falls under the Federal regulations and must meet their specifications review. Which States are being visited by a State Regulator to ensure proper daily operations??

Smart tan says call for information... Here in Ga I know that we are regulated but we do not have anyone come check (no enforcement at all...)
