Rep Power: 0 | We are looking to change our name. Currently it is a name that even our regulars don't know! Our sign outside just says Tanning Co. and nowhere inside does it say the name. I would like to know more about marketing the name inside and out when we change it. Any experiences and suggestions you have would be great!! |

Rep Power: 23 | Why would you change your name all together..I like it The Tanning Co. --- is there room behind your counter that you could have a sign made of your name? Have one custom made..or is there a wall that is kinda bare that could be a good spot for the name..Make sure you have your name printed on any materials that a customer would pick up..business cards, inforamtional material, etc...you could even have those gold/silver emborossed stickers to put on the back of your lotions with your name on it.. Rep Power: 27 | Do you have a logo for the name? A picture is worth a thousand words, for that matter the font of the words can be the picture. Visit some of the web pages listed here and look at there "identity" |

Rep Power: 0 | Thanks for the info...Actually the name is A Mile High Tanning Co.-we are in Florida and the previous owner was from Colorado-so that's where the name comes from. And like I said, even though that is the entire name our only sign says Tanning Co. We do have future plans for putting our new name within the salon and I love the idea about putting the name on backs of lotion bottles! I'll check out the suggestions and see what happens...Thank you! |

Rep Power: 0 | Definitely, keep the name - The Tanning Co. To change it now would confuse the public. Just get a cute logo built around the name. Do some vinyl letters w/ the logo in your window (if you can). Have that new, catchy logo on everything! |
