Rep Power: 23 | Do any of you have a office at your salon? I was thinking about this today...I think that it would be nice to have an office tha I could lock and would be my personal space.... What about the rest of you..Do you have an office? Christina |

Rep Power: 0 | I have a big office/kitchen. We started out as a nail salon only with 4 - 5 nail techs so we needed a breakroom/kitchen and I put my office there. As of Mar 1, we will be exclusively tanning and I am thinking of eliminating this space and turning it into another tanning room. Haven't decided yet. I know I don't want to drag stuff home so I need a small space, at least. Pam |

Rep Power: 0 | My daughter was the last one I have and she started having trouble with her back and neck again, too. When she got to figuring what day care would cost for her two school age kids this summer, she decided it was crazy to work all summer just to pay daycare when she could be having fun with her kids. So... as of March 1 she is done. She feels like she is letting me down but I told her it is okay. Life is full of change and it just brings new opportunity. She will help me out during busy season. It is as good or better that being here myself. It will be an adjustment for us all but worth it I think. Nail techs are hard to get and keep. I quit (almost-I do about 3 people a week) a year ago. I can eventually add 5 or 6 beds in place of the nails. Trying to decide what to do this year and what to wait on. Pam |

Rep Power: 0 | I used to have a office in the salon, but once I put the massage room in...it had to go:( I really miss not having some where to go and do paperwork. I do recommend having a little private space for yourself, just make sure the door locks! |

Rep Power: 24 | SPACE is money.... I use every square inch of space as income making. I use to have an office.....It became the resting spot for every guest who wanted to talk....I felt more like a priest in that room than a person running a business........... No..that was a long time ago.. I take every square foot and divide it by the rent....and make each square foot a money making area. Just the way I do it........ C |
