Rep Power: 25 | I had a real hard time understanding that the UVB output doesn't mean anything when you don't know the total UV output. So one 5.0 lamp is NOT equal to another brand 5.0!!!! I think it took about 10 attempts of people explaining that to me before it sunk in.....maybe I'm just thick headed???? |

Rep Power: 0 | It is confusing. I really want to replace my Speed lamps (175/205) with a lamp that will go some immediate result, as well as delayed like the Speed. Any suggestions from the lamp company experts or a salon owner who has done this already? JTF |

Rep Power: 23 | Teresa, 5.0% of What? That is what you need to ask. Lets say that lamp A has a Total Uv output of 30 Lamp B has a Total Uv output of 18. They can both have 5% UVB. But guess which one will tan you much better? |

Rep Power: 0 | I have decided to go with the Light Sources Select.....I have gotten price quotes of $6.00 less per lamp compared to Speed 175! This is a big savings.....and from everything I have read, they will be as good or even better. Sincere thanks for the help, JTF |
