Holiday Hours... - tanTALK

This is my first time being open during the Holidays and am just wondering what your salons have as their Holiday hours?
I was thinking along the lines of:

Christmas Eve 9-2
Christmas Day Closed
New Years Eve 9-2
New Years Day Closed

Will do standard hours for the days we're open. Plan to close Xmas day and New Years day. Plan to open Sunday this month for a special sale. We'll see what happens. Gotta do something to get the cash register ringing.

We close Christmas Eve at 5 and between 3 and 5 alot of people come in for gift certificates.

Mine are the same as yours Christina. I also open later the day after each of these 2 holidays.

We close at 4 Christmas eve and New Year's eve. Last year we got several last-minute gift shoppers Christmas eve too. We are also closing on Boxing Day this year because last year it was dead.

Last year New Years eve was steady/slow at two of our salons and the third was packed and people waiting at closing time. So hard to say this year!!!!!

Is anyone opening up for short hours on New Year's Day?
If you've done this in the past, what turnout did you have?
