For those of you who supply your tanner's with eyewear on the bed... how often do you replace your eyewear?

TX requires us to provide eyewear. I was using sunnies for a while but it was such a pain keeping them clean, re-attaching elastic after customers un-attached them. Having them get tangled up with each other.

We finally went to providing viewkeepers. Love them! So much easier and less time consuming. Most of my customers like them better as well. I think in the long run it will be more cost effective.

that is great Shallee, Not only that they are easier to deal with, but much more sanitary for your clients.

Does this mean that you must provide it in each room or that you must have it for sale. I do not provide eyewear. I do not sanitize eyewear. nothing. I have a note posted that says we must see your eyewear before going in the room. People are so used to it they have it out before they are even in the store. They are also told this when they sign their new customer papers.

I charge $3.00-$4.00 for peepers-sunglobes...ect. I charge .50 for winkies.
I have eyepro's placemats on display. If you don't have them....get em. They are gruesome...but great.

Hey has anyone seen those shirt pins workers wear at gas stations, grocery stores, or anywhere alcohol is sold??

They say "I would even check my mom's ID"
I would like to have some made up that say-
"I would even check my mom's eyewear"

Texas regulations state that "eyewear must be available in vicinity of tanning bed"...

We have No Rays in each room, Peepers for sale or loan at the desk. But most of our customers are trained to show us their eyewear AND lotion on their way to the room.
