I was wondering if anyone could share some of there ideas for an anniversary. Our 1st year is coming up and I have already called some of the manufacturers for samples and t-shirts. Any other ideas?

We have "free tan weekend" for our anniversary every year. Everyone that comes in gets to tan for free on Sat & Sun. It is the first weekend in March and is the kick off to our season.

Our 1st anniversary was great. 1st since we are in a small town I went @ to the other local businesses and created a huge basket of goodies from every business in town. I know it was OUR day but let me finish. We had a community wide scavanger hunt. 25 questions that dealt with the town and locals. Ex: When did Haskell become a town? When did the school open? Who was our town names for? Things like that and the 1st person with the most correct won the huge basket. We also had other games the customers played in order to win PRIZES that I had received from Manuf. & distrib. It was awsome. And the scavanger hunt was a huge success even people who had not been in before were stopping in to get a list. (Several have been back) We even had the Mayor of our town stop by for the potato race!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rep Power: 24 Bronze Star will become famous soon enough
I know that Mitzi did a customer appreciation day where she had Tara from JA come to her salon... they advertised on local radio. Some of the other owners have tossed around the idea of a radio station doing a remote broadcast from their location as well. Has anyone here actually done one of these?
