Rep Power: 23 | Not sure where to post this topic but I was thinking about a sidewalk sale. Setting up a small tables selling sunblock, lip balms, 1/2 price tanning packages, toe rings, sunglasses, anklets, etc..... Has anyone ever done this before? If so, what was the outcome! Kristina |

Rep Power: 23 | Get with the other tenants in your shopping center. Try to plan something on a weekend that is convenient for everyone. If everyone is involved it will increase traffic throughout the entire center. We are planning a re-grand opening at one of our salons. The landlord just finished redoing the front facade of the building. And, one of the tenants in our building is the recording secretary for the local Chamber of Commerce. We are all working together to get the Chamber of Commerce out and have a ribbon cutting ceremony. |

Rep Power: 23 | Our whole block is planning on haveing a sidewalk sale sometime in October or November. This will be perfect for me, I can also make it my Anniversary sale, not to mention being in the middle of slow season. We chose that time of year because it was just before Christmas for some of the merchants, and because it won't be so darn hot! We are all getting together as far as advertising so it will be less expensive for us all. I'm excited. |
