Rep Power: 23 | I love the place I go to except for one little thing..... the staff attire. It comes in 2 versions: 1) hooker--16 and 17 year olds falling out of their shirts, shorts rolled all the way down, skintight everything, platform sandals. It's disgusting. 2) just-rolled-out-of-bed-- including inside out sweat pants, a t-shirt, and barefeet. I don't know what they're thinking. I mean, it looks like they're either trying to pick up a guy or they don't give a crap about their job or what they look like. I love going places where the staff is EASILY IDENTIFIABLE with either a "uniform" shirt or a color theme. It just makes things look more professional. |

Rep Power: 25 | I wish that we used uniform shirts, but because of the high turnover rate of my college student employees it would not be cost effective. I do have a dress code though and I am not afraid to send someone home to change. No hats, no sleeveless tops, no sweats, no short shorts, no flannel pj pants, and anything that is not in good interest of waiting on the public. Very rarely do I have any problems with this and when I have it has only taken one "send home" to remedy it. |

Rep Power: 0 | All true service business' dealing with the public directly wear uniforms. As an owner, You spend alot of time and $$$ making the presentation of your salon impressive. Why in the world would you allow a 20 year old boy or girl decide on the most important look of your salon. Total cost with logo is no more than $8. Give them 1 or 2 shirts and let them buy more if they need them. |

Rep Power: 24 | We are in the process of buying more shirts... but had a high turnover rate this year in staff. Our uniform is comfortable, casual and trendy. Not flashy or trashy... must be tidy, neat and comfortabl for working in. |

Rep Power: 23 | We don't have uniforms, but I did state in my employee hand book that they, as well as their clothing must be clean, tidy, and within good taste. It also states specifically that shoes must be worn at all times. I don't mind sandles or "flip-flops", as long as they are wearing shoes. I know that this dress code is very vauge, but so far I have had no problems. |
