Rep Power: 23 | Spent just a little over $100 for 50 small signs with metal H stakes, planting many of them up and down the busy road leading to salon #2. Received numerous inquiries the next morning, but within two weeks most of the signs were missing. Now of course we blamed the competition, and although I'm sure they assisted, I found out yesterday the county has an ordinance against these and routinely pulls them up. DOH! Although the investment was small, next time we'll hide them OFF the county highway, and into streets leading out of big subdivisions. Glad I had the foresight to save a few. |

Rep Power: 23 | Cab I can't speak for Tamar on where she got her signs but check out your yellow page listings and see if there is a local sign company around. That's where we get ours done. The price is a tad more than what Tamar spent but it is the 2nd best form of advertising for us next to word of mouth. Angie |

Rep Power: 28 | Thanks for bring this to my attention. When I first opened 5 yrs ago, A girl from another town told me to do this in large subdivisions and at the local shopping centers. She said it drew a lot of business in for her. I had forgotten all about this. thanks tamar |

Rep Power: 23 | Neon In my situation, The owners of the strip center I'm in also own property next to ours and I can post my signs at the corner of a busy intersection. I do have to be sure that it is a certain # of feet from the road or the city will take it down. Otherwise I try to find out who owns the property and see if they will give me permission to post the sign for a certain time period. Cutiepup |
