What would you do?

You make the decision to stock and feature a national brand of indoor tanning products . After spending months educating your staff and convincing your tanners to buy it, finally the product is selling great!

Then the jerk with the tanning salon down the block, who has never stocked that brand before is suddenly stocking the indoor product brand you have been selling and is selling it for $5.00 a bottle less than you!

What do you do?

We keep on doing what We have always done..
Sell... keeping your clients educated on the hows and whys to use the lotion you stock is worth the extra $5.00.. People will pay for the extra attention and the experianced information given..
We prove this every single day..
We have 4 salons right with-in a 4 mile distance who sell some of the things we sell...and are alot less than we are..

Presentation and education..
Knowledge is worth the extra $5.00..
Be the Best Sell the Best.. Know thy product and sell sell sell....

No matter what the discount, that salon is using your ability to select products and convince tanners to buy them to make money for their salon!

What do you do?

I'm 99% sure our prices are the same or quite possibly a few dollars less expensive. Regardless... clients seek us out for results and outstanding service. I've heard it time and time again. We remember their names, know their preferences and we deliver a fantastic tan in a very clean, friendly environment. Sometimes that's worth the extra dollar or two. I've yet to have ONE complaint about our pricing... for sessions or lotions or ANYTHING! There are some things you can't put a price tag on.

The true answer to this question is a question:
WHAT THE **** IS MY CUSTOMER DOING IN ANOTHER TANNING SALON!!!
Haven't ever had this problem.
Now on the other hand, I have had customers come in and tell me they found the lotion cheaper at beauty supply and drug stores.
How could this possibly happen,GREG???

Well... I don't know about YOUR customer, but when a client tells me what happens in another salon... it's usually because they LEFT there to come to us.
