Mini Tanks, ya'll! I could spend more time here if I weren't so busy marketing, er, shopping for new Vegas duds.

Tuh-mahr is how I pronounce it, but not really sure how you say it. Tamar is a character from the Bible who used clever means to reclaim what was rightfully hers (for her era/culture) from Judah. You can find this and other interesting stories in The Harlot by the Side of the Road by Jonathan Kirsch.

I thought is was biblical but then Sean was reading over my shoulder and said "Oh that's Tay-mahr the magician." I thought... yeah, Michelle knows her magic all right to be running two salons with her daughter!

I missed this post the first time around. I'm glad I was pronouncing Tamar correctly, now I'll have to find a copy of this book to see who you were referring to.
