Rep Power: 14 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Do you do all of the training yourself, have one particular employee, or just let eveyone train???? I have tried all three and I am leading towards having one person be the "trainer" again. I did have one "trainer" before and she did a good job, plus she knew what they had and had not been taught because she was with them the whole way. Since she has quit I decided to do it all myself.....that was awful because I am always getting calls from other salons and employees, vendors, dealing with issues at hand, I could not give the trainee my full attention. So right now newbies are training with a mix of empoyees and I have noticed they seem to pick up every bad habit of each of them. I still do the 6-8 hour "classroom" training & orientation (tax forms, rules & policies, State exam, and lotion education) that I require of everyone. |

Rep Power: 12 ![]() | Right now it is Tamar and myself that do the training. We've found that some take to Tamar's style and others take to mine. It's nice to have options with our training styles. But, I do look forward to the day that we have one person that is our "trainer." |
