Rep Power: 23 | How do you handle those employees that just won't let you leave the salon... it is like they are always calling for something... it is like they need you there 24/7. Sometimes they just call to make sure they can get you... like we might run away! |

Rep Power: 0 | Are the employees calling because they are not sure about proceedures in the salon?? if thats the case more training is needed. if they are calling just to shoot the breeze then you need to have a talk with them about what is urgent and what can wait.also are they taking alot of personal phone calls?? thats a no-no if you are a very busy salon. nothing like a customer waiting for a bed listening to what movie your employee should see tonight. |

Rep Power: 23 | Are they insecure? How are you when you are together with them? Is this something that perhaps could be changed by your behavior when you are with them at the salon? I never call the boss. But I am also very confident and very secure in what I am doing. |

Rep Power: 25 | I have some employees that never call me and then I have others that call me 2-3 times every shift. I can't say I can pinpoint any particular reason for these two extremes. I have some very good seasoned employees that fall into each category and inexperienced ones that fall into both groups too. |
