Rep Power: 25 | I have found in training hundreds of employees that you need to use several different methods of training, a different one will work differently for each employee. Some you can give pages and pages of written materials and they will learn from it, others won't get it until they see you do it, and others won't get it until they do it themselves with your coaching along the way. Don't give up on an employee if you only do one because it has worked in the past, try a different avenue. Now if we were all the same how boring would that be? |

Rep Power: 23 | That is sooo true. I am a hands on person... I can watch a few times and then I can usually learn faster given the opportunity to just try and do it! I get too bored if I am say in a reading only class... it is just not as productive for me. |
