Rep Power: 23 | I can't believe it or even want to understand it but this morning when I came into the salon someone had thrown over 2 dozen eggs at the front of my store, just so happenend the salon was the only one hit in the whole complex, so it is obviously personal, had a police report, but am so furious, if I have to deal with this again I'm gonna freak. Have any of you had anything like this happen to you? Thanks Christina |

Rep Power: 23 | Christina, Aren't you a relatively new salon? Do you think this could be a competitor? Did one of your clients get po'd recently? I hope you get to the bottom of this. Were they dried on like someone threw them last night after you closed or was it fresh this morning. I hope it wasn't too bad of a mess to clean up. Did other clients notice? If so, what did you say to them? |

Rep Power: 23 | I just had a thought. Usually when someone does something like this, they like to witness the "reaction" of their victim. If anyone makes a point to ask you about it... give them an evil smile and say "Oh we have the whole thing on tape. We know exactly who it is." If they press you for details just say "The police are handling it and that's all I can say for now." |

Rep Power: 23 | I agree with Chippp... bleach will zap it and citrus will neutralize the smell. I would suggest even getting a few citronella candles, the big ones with three wicks in the metal cans and place them outside. They burn for hours... make sure it's okay with your landlord. Then use the citrus spray after cleaning with bleach. Wear gloves, bleach can burn your skin. If you don't mind... I'm moving this to the management forum. |

Rep Power: 0 | Christina, Vandals plague the entire planet and it is more than irritating. For about 3 weeks, last year, every 2-3 days we opened one of our locations to find on the windows the remains of some sick kids' idea of a joke... They were trying to see who could "spit a loogie" the highest up onto the windows.. This was absolutely disgusting. You could see where it hit initially and then ran all of the way down the window to the bottom. We found out about this little "contest" about 3 months after it had stopped. These were just young punk kids getting thrills...The wierd thing? It was only our windows out of a center with 15 other tenants. People, come on..... That's sick!! -Tommie- |

Rep Power: 23 | I feel for you, after 30 years owing my own businesses and the gealousy and down right evil of people I have seen, I could go on for hours about the abuse and damage that I have experanced over the years, to be young and own your own business brings out a hate in people even worse then being mature and owning one. I have on many many times lost all faith in man kind. I will not go into detail, but what I have seen happen to me on and off over the years, ranges from, funny in a "sick way", to nauseating to down right scary and criminal. Try to find some humour in it, as hard as it will be, it can always be worse, beleive me. Why I don't drink or do drugs is beyond me. Keep the faith! |
