Don I was wondering if you have had a chance to see the proposed Canadian regulations and accompanying "DANGER" label we are supposed to have on all equipment. Our government is looking at adopting the IEC standards including yearly exposure max's etc etc.

Are IEC standards in place in many European countries and which actually enforce them?

Perfect:

Yes I have seen them and I have sent Health Canada a list of questions that need to be answered.

I requested permission to attend the 5/10/02 meeting with Health Canada but my request was turned down. Why? Because Health Canada doesn't want anyone who "knows the facts" to be allowed to participate.

Please read my post "Gird your loins" for more information.

Don

PS: The Europeans DO NOT even try to enforce their absurd regulations which makes you wonder why they bother to pass them.[ This Message was edited by: Don Smith on 2002-05-13 07:33 ]
