Rep Power: 23 | I had someone come into my salon and ask me if I would be interested in letting her come in to do facial analysis and in the process she would recommend some products to help improve your complexion. This would be no cost to me only the time to set up apointments so that she could come in on Friday and Saturdays and some week nights. I would make 50% of all sales. Would I need additional insurance? Thanks for your input. _________________ Teez Tanning[ This Message was edited by: Teez on 2002-02-18 15:13 ] |

Rep Power: 23 | The way I understand it is that she will be working from my clientele. As for space, I have a large room in the back although, she only needs room for a small table and two chairs. I will find out how she wants to handle the products when she come in this Friday to go over the details. She said that we could set out a sign up sheet and find out who would be interested and offer a two for one deal. _________________ Teez Tanning[ This Message was edited by: Teez on 2002-02-18 19:09 ] |

Rep Power: 0 | You will probably need the extra insurance. We have added body wraps and massages and my insurance agent told me it would be very wise to add these to my insurance policy. Our policy only went up a couple of hundred $$ a year. The Bigbadwolff[ This Message was edited by: Bigbadwolff on 2002-02-19 10:51 ] |

Rep Power: 23 | If she is applying any of those products that you will be selling to someone's face in your salon,I would defiantly check w/your insurance company, you could be held liable if something happens to their skin(who knows this might fall under your product sale coverage & your covered).Even though my massage therapist has her own insurance,I still added on massage & herbal wraps to my policy, its better to be safe then sorry. Also you should make sure this is not regulated by the state or the board of cosmo.I know here we are not aloud to do anything that has to do w/facial because it is regulated by the board of cosmo.Good luck Amy |
