Rep Power: 24 | Before the busy season kicks in or just as it's taking off... do you have lotion training? Do you train on the specific lotions you have? Do you train on lotions (bronzers, tingles, naturals) in general and how to help a tanner find the right lotion for them? Do you also train on great, effective ways to sell more lotion? How and what do you say? Anything that is a MUST that you ALWAYS train on? |

Rep Power: 23 | Laurie, We train our staff on lotions and use JA's video. They also have to read about how lotions work and why and take a quiz. Then, of course they get a sample of all the different lotions we carry and have to use them and give me a written description of the lotion, what they liked/disliked, and if they thought it worked. |

Rep Power: 24 | I would imagine that the easiest way to get it would be to contact someone at JA. Their number is 800-532-9035. You can always e-mail Frank Abate too at frank@johnabate.com He's a great guy and seems very interested in doing what he can to educate on lotions. I learned a lot from him (and others) at the TW Training symposium. |

Rep Power: 23 | I train my employees on lotion. Most of them have been with me for over a year so it is not an issue. For new employees I give them the information on every lotion we have and why they work and for what type of clients. Knowing your lotion is key to selling it. In my second year I doubled lotion sales from my first year as I became more educated. Stacey |

Rep Power: 0 | Our local distributor used to come in and give us an hour or two of lotions training and sales would double for the next couple of weeks and then flatten out. Anybody else have (or even use) a local distributor? |
