Rep Power: 0 | I have a few select customers that leave their name on the bottle and I hold their lotion under the counter for them. I checked into the "lotion lockers" that a few distributors carry, but they're very pricey. I'm now considering having my husband (who's in construction) construct some wood/plexiglass lockers for me. Does anyone out there use these lockers? If so, do you charge? I was considering having it being one of the perks of our salon. |

Rep Power: 23 | you are going to create a service that you will not be paid enough for! we let clients leave labeled bottles at their own risk on the top of a cabinet in our salon, we have not had a problem and it is not an extra job to cause us work or problems, yet the clients get the convieance for free, not many use it but the ones that do like it. Don't open a can of worms you will never get paid enough for. |

Rep Power: 0 | I disagree with Chippp on this one. We plan on having lockers available. Still trying to come up with the best design. I agree that the ones available are overpriced. If you have somewhere secure to hold their lotions, it a great convenience for customers. They don't have to carry bottles around in their car and have them explode in the heat. They won't 'forget' them at home. They won't try another salon because YOU have their lotion! |

Rep Power: 0 | I have a shelf behind my desk for all clients to leave their lotion. I think that is a better idea. Why you ask? Because when a customer comes in and see's all the lotion behind me, I tell them that it is other customers lotions, and they all can't be wrong, this stuff really works. If they are a non believer of lotion, they are easily converted. And if you are trying to make a point on a certain lotion, they can see others that have purchased it. Must work, everybody has a bottle........... |

Rep Power: 0 | We have a salon that has a total 30 lockers. Really nice, brass finish, and we have maybe two customers that use them. No one is interested, no one ask about them, and the lockers are located in the main hall way entrance with our towel rack beneath them. Customers have to pass them to get their towels and proceed to their room. Every area is different of course, however I truly do not feel that if someone was making the decision whether or not to spend the extra money to have them installed, then your money would be better spent elsewhere. Possibly advertising...... |

Rep Power: 0 | Thanks for your input! I think I like the idea of the shelf where the lotions can be seen. Then there's no worry about locking the lockers, lost keys, etc. I've actually had a few customers come back in just because they did leave their lotion here, so I offered them our special and they renewed their package. Really not a big time issue to retrieve their lotion, either. |

Rep Power: 23 | I really like this idea but we are not set up to do it yet. Can't tell you how often I here, "Oops, forgot my...". Would also help track who has their own eyewear, who is almost out of lotion, and what kind they are buying or need to buy. |
