Rep Power: 0 | Recently at the trade show in Nashville, we took a class on air conditioning. They breifly talked about "portable" air conditioners. Is there someone who has tried these units? They did talk about the importance of venting. Also, who would you contact to purchase one or get more info? |

Rep Power: 24 | get your wallet out,you are far better off in the long run to put in a split sytsem than these portable units unless money is no object then you still have to find a place to set the unit which most peoples space is at a premium.check www.grainger.com they are a major supplier of industrial stuff.i put in a 10-ton split system custom design for tanning with spiral exposed duct which looks trick for only 8500.00 .there is a whole science to cooling a salon you CANNOT use typical load calculations you will have way too much air for the real end result. |
