Rep Power: 0 | How often do you do employee meetings? We have an employee meeting at the beginning of every month. All of my employees have a file and I put any information that is needed to be read in the file and they sign off showing that they have read it. At our meetings I test them on all of the information in the file. For instance the new 2002 lotions that we are carrying will go into their files and the benefits of using them! |

Rep Power: 23 | Brandi - Do you find it easier to have a meeting with all employees or to interact and train them one on one? As I currently have no employees except myself and my partner this is an issue that I would like to settle before the busy season when I do have employees. |

Rep Power: 23 | Hmmmm... when I had three to four people reporting directly to me it was often easiest to have one central meeting, even if for just five minutes a day to cover any pressing issues. Though we still had meetings when issues arose to handle pressing matters, it was much easier to have as many of us present as possible to avoid misinterpretations of what was said. This way any misunderstandings or questions can be handled on the spot, in front of everyone and this ensures we were all on the same page. I had small meetings daily and at least once a week when my entire staff was present we had a longer, much more involved, comprehensive meeting. These meetings were also an open forum where all issues were addressed. And we also eliminated a heirarchy for it so that junior members wouldn't fell too intimidated to share their views. Though I was still the Sr. Supervisor and my position was respected... we offered this equal footing so that all issues could be comfortably addressed. It was an awesome team, one I will never forget. |

Rep Power: 0 | Tangirl, Our meetings are mandatory and they are held as a group. If I need to do any individual training my manager and I break the girls up into teams and we train them in this manner. I have found the best way to train is to show them how you want it done then have each girl perform the task shown. I have found the meetings to be very beneficial. This is a good time to get the girls excited about sales goals, new products, and any specials that I may be promoting for the month... Neon Beach Where Summer Never Ends! |
