Rep Power: 23 | This may seem like a really dumb question, but here goes... How do I handle the used towels or cleaning rags? Do I keep a hamper in each room? the hallway maybe? I just think it's not practical to walk all the way to the back of my salon (where my washer and dryer are) after I clean each bed. My husband and I can't seem to agree on how to handle this. What do ya'll suggest? |

Rep Power: 23 | We have a hamper at the end of the hall. We have to go back there to get the cleaning bottles and rag. We just go in the rooms and grab the towels and goggles out first and spray it down, take the dirty towels and goggles to the back and grab a clean set up go back to the room, clean it up and clean the bed. We keep a spray bottle in the front and in the back to eliminate extra trips. |

Rep Power: 23 | We have a very nice wrought iron bakers rack half way down the hallway with clean rolled towels, cleaning cloths and spray bottles. We also have two very nice hampers (wicker with cloth liners that we got at Sam's Club). They are placed at the beginning of hallway and at the end. We ask clients to leave their towels in the room. That is another way to track towel theives. If no towel is left we know who took it. We do not furnish goggles. So that eliminated that whole issue. Kathy BellaDonna Tan |

Rep Power: 24 | In the middle of my hallway I have a white rack that holds all the folded towels, on the top is the goggle tan, and a dish of candy, to the left is a garbage can, and to the right is a hamper. I do urge my customers to leave the towels in the room so I can track towel theives. Spray bottles and cleaning rags are kept under the front counter along with clean goggles |

Rep Power: 0 | I also have a hamper in the middle of my halway. I have a wicker shelf there, to hold clean towels and goggles. Spray bottles in every room. Clients either drop towels in hamper or leave in room. I change hamper acouple time a day and put used towels in back room. I don't have any room to put washer and dryer in salon, so guess what I do every nite. Yes, I go home and wash a zillion towels. Now you know what I do for excitment. whoha...... |

Rep Power: 23 | We keep all sanitizer bottles, towels, candy and lint rollers in a large, square basket w/lid in our "mid hall". Everything is covered and we have a small wicker basket for used towels. Our hall is rather long, so we empty the used towel basket when it becomes full. |

Rep Power: 23 | Sandman, Texas has that rule on goggles too. Key phrase is "if they are designed to have straps, then they must have straps". Best I can tell, peepers are designed as "strap optional" so I do not replace them all day long, what a job! Are you also required to keep them "in the vicinity" of the tanning bed? If so, email me and I will share info on that as well. |
