Rep Power: 23 | Sunvelocity I too carry swimwear. I'm within a lake community so so far I've had very good luck with my swimwear sales. I too had the same problem when I first started the swimwear search. Carl Wior swimwear is what I've decided to offer my clients. My rep sent me 2 different catalogs. One had more hip styles in sizes from 6-18. The other had older more sophisticated suits from 8-24. My rep allows me to order what I need when I need. So I normally let my customers actually look through the catalog and pick what they like not necessarily just what I have in stock. The lines you are carrying aren't bad but you may want to also look into Ritchie and Pan Dulce swimwear. They are awesome suits, many different textures and styles. My customers love it because most are really over Venus. If you want phone numbers so you can contact them for catalogs let me know. Cutiepup |

Rep Power: 23 | I called Carol Wior a long time ago and they said that they would send a representative to my store to see about a tester run. I haven't heard from them since. Would it be worth it to call them back? Pan Dulce looked good, but required a lot on first orders, I'm new at this and really wouldn't know what to start with as in sizes, styles, or anything. Suggestions? |

Rep Power: 23 | Neon, When you called Carl Wior did they give you a name and number for a representative for you to contact? If not what I would do is call back and ask for the name & number for the rep that takes cares of your area. All the swimwear companies are getting ready for Surf Expo this month so it may take some time for you to hear back from someone. Also do you know who you talked to at Ritchie/Pan Dulce? I did not have to purchase a large initial order. Actually I order what I want when I want. I keep the book on my counter and my clients can place a single suit order if they want. Doing it this way will help you decide what to carry and what will sell in your area. I've done very well with my suits this year. We are expanding our retail area to accomodate the interest in our swimwear. I'll help with any other questions you have just let me know. Cutiepup |

Rep Power: 23 | neon~cutiepup is right, get a name & # for a sales rep in your area.I called a while back, never heard from anyone,I called again got a name & # & he called me back right away, also sent out copies of the line. They look GREAT,can't wait until the end of this month when the sales rep is bringing the line to my salon so I can touch, feel it & size it.Like cutiepup said, there is NO minium, you can order just one if you want. This line is defiantly going to be a hit w/my average or larger size woman & the Ritchie/PanDelce is going to be a hit w/the smaller size woman & teenagers.I just came across another swimwear company,Heatwave,,average sizes & cuts,$149 for a pack of ten,you choose the colors & fabric, body style & sizes you want.Sounds good ,has anyone else sold this swimwear line?Heatwave 949-643-3161 Amy |
