Rep Power: 23 | I have met a girl that is a make up artist and have talked to her about doing a class in our salon. She would be tapping our client base and using our lobby for this. Anyone ever considered or done this? How did you compensate yourself? Did it work well? Thought it would be great right before the x-mas parties get started. |

Rep Power: 0 | I own a business that puts make up into salons, among other products. The right line can easily double a salons revenue in a very short time, if promoted properly. You should be compensated on a percentage of the markup. For example, our custom blend foundation has a 280% markup, can be sold in less that 10 minutes and has a $22 per bottle profit to the salon owner. That is just one product. Our average $$ spent on each face in our salons is over $200. A proper "day of Beauty" can easily yield the salon owner over $1,000. Joel Ellington joelellington@peoplepc.com |
