Rep Power: 25 | I've just done away with one of my phone lines. This will save me a lot of money. I do walk-ins, so my phone is not that busy. The problem is when I'm on the Internet. Do any of you just operate with one phone line & how do you handle your calls. I had voice mail, but then I decided to forward calls to my cell phone when I'm on the Internet. There's also something called CallWave for the Internet that shows you is calling & you can hear their message while on the Internet. Another option is if the phone rings it throws you off the Internet, but it doesn't seem to work for me. Any suggestions? |

Rep Power: 23 | Line two in Ohio is $31 per month, most tanning salons spend 10 times that amount on yellow pages. If you missed just 4 or 5 calls per month you are losing more than you are saving. Do you allow employees to surf the web while at work? How about personal calls when you are not there. As you should be able to tell I have two lines in all stores and no Internet. Rep Power: 25 | Okay, I've got my calls forwarded to my cell phone! Didn't know I was supposed to answer the cell phone when I forwarded the calls to get it to start working. No, my employees don't get on the Internet...but I do. This week I'll have worked 55 hours. I've GOT to do something with my time! It was much easier with 2 phone lines, but this is saving me $50 bucks a month & I can still take their calls on my cell! If I could figure out how to kick me off the Internet so I could answer the phone, I'd do that too! |

Rep Power: 24 | I have 3 lines. One in my office for puter/fax or just for me! LOL! and 2 lines throughout thee rest of salon that roll over. If you are forwarding calls to your cell, doesn't that rack up your cell bill? Oh, and voicemail, just in case lines 1 & 2 are tied up. Or in case someone needs to cancel or something and they want to leave a message at 4 am. |

If this is new to your local cable company they usually run the install free of charge. A second line would be just as reasonable as any advertising you could do also. |
