Rep Power: 23 | How prepared are you in the event of a robbery? How well trained are your employees for dealing with this type of situation? I wouldn't wish this on anyone, but in this day and age you must be prepared for anything at any time. What steps have you taken? |

Rep Power: 24 | Mark on you entrance feet and inches so you can determine the perpetrators height. Remember to stay as calm as you can and give them what they want and you get what you want "their description". I was held up twice. The first time 4 guys came in circled he at the cash and told me to open the cash. They looked half baked and I had a club right at hand reach ready to whoop some ***. I Looked then all in the eyes and said in a loud voice NO !. They looked at each other and walked out. What looser. I would not recommend doing this but I tend to be really good at reading people. Am other time I had one guy keep me busy and the other one walked out with a 6" fig tree, that was in my florist shop years ago. One was so dumb he places an order for his girl friend to be delivered. So I remembered what they looked like phoned the police... to make this short..... mug shots form my description and the police said keep reading the paper......months later they were in the paper, members of a big crime ring got busted for tons of stuff all went to jail. the end. Just give em what they want but remember make mental notes what they look like, the police will have a good idea who they are, unless your are in a big city or an american, then the best you can hope for is you don't get shot dead for $5.00 In canada we don't pack guns like you do in the usa, so they are not used in crime much......yet. |

Rep Power: 25 | I had a camera & monitor installed in hopes it would discourage anyone from coming in & robbing the store or stealing something. I've also told my employees if anyone comes in & demands money, to give it to them. I also have pepper spray for them to use if needed. I just hope it's never needed! |
