Rep Power: 0 | In each of our salons we have a dry erase board that we post bible verses on. Some of the stores change them weekly, others daily. You would not believe how many customers stop to read it. We also post tanning tips, or just tell them we hope they have a good day. It's a great feeling when people stop and remark about what is on the board. |

Rep Power: 0 | Dave,We don't necessarily have a certain version or sections we choose from. Each manager sits down weekly with the bible of their choice and picks out their own. Versus that are uplifting and inspirational. Our customers will ask about it if the board is not visible or removed for a day or so. This was something that our owner implemented about 3 years ago and we have maintained that policy. I feel that of course our customers most definately feel secure in our salons and trust us. Everyone needs God in their life each day and if visiting your tanning salon can assist in providing it then we have provided a great service!------------------Tracie WilliamsSandollar Corporation |

Rep Power: 0 | I think alot of clients would find quotes from the bible very offensive ..unless you have a salon in Utah where evryone is Morman and all believe the same things. Everyone believes in many different things..I would maybe keep putting them up but I wouldnt tell people they are from the bible..If they know where its from let them realize it for themself.Just my opinion |

Rep Power: 0 | The verses are up and some people stop and read them, other do not. They are there for whoever enjoys stopping to read them. You would be surprised at how many people comment on the verses. I have yet to have someone complain. (yet) |

Rep Power: 0 | Actually, I have been at this resort for a year now, and I have only had one person thatwas majorly offended by our scripture board. She was an atheist. I told her that it was not meant to offend anyone and I was very sorry it bothered her. She said she just wouldn't look at it anymore and I told her that would be fine. She is still a regular client here so, apparently it doesn't offendher too much. Most people really like it.------------------Lisa Holder |

If anyone argues with it, show'em the following verses and tell'em God said so!Romans Chapter 12, Verses 10 and 11:Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; I may definitely do this. Only need to figure out where to put the board up! |

Rep Power: 0 | I have been at the resort for two years now and nobody has complained about the Bible verses to me. Actually, people complain if we take the board down and they want to know where it is. So it has worked out really good. |

Rep Power: 0 | Dave,Our scripture boards are displayed in the front lobby of each of the resorts. Most people stop to read them as soon as they walk through the door. Like Carin said, we not only put scriptures on the board, we also do tanning tips from time to time. Clients really like this because they feel like they are learning something they didn't already know. Hope this works as well for you as it has for Sandollar.------------------Lisa Holder |

Rep Power: 24 | Although the Bibical verses are what we choose at Sandollar, not all boards have to have a scripture, a positive quote will more than likely promote a better attitude for clients and clerks, also its a less expensive advertising techique, you can advertise specials, lotions of the month, or tanning tips. This allows your customers to learn and maybe leave feeling better than they did when they arrived. I feel that anything positive you can contribute to a client will benifit your business.------------------Tonya |
